KoolPrint User Guide

Introduction

With KoolPrint you can print any ListView or DetailView in pdf format. Print views are available on all modules without the need to create templates. No setting is required.

This solution is included in the KoolSuite Professional license.

Printing a Listview

KoolPrint prints any ListView of your CRM.

To print from a ListView:

1. Activate the form of interest and filter or sort the records if desired.
2. With the printer icon in the top bar, activate KoolPrint.
3. You can change the name of the pdf report that KoolPrint presents. By confirming, you will get the desired list containing all the records with the columns visible on the screen.

Print a DetailView

It is often important to have on pdf, even for archiving, a “photograph” of a record card: all the fields of the DetailView combined with the lists of sub-panels.

KoolPrint allows you to print any DetaiView with subpanels in pdf format.

How to print

Go to the detail mask of the desired record

1. Activate KoolPrint with the icon in the Top bar
2. KoolPrint will ask which subpanels you want to print with details: select the subpanels to include in the print.
3. Confirm to open the pdf print of the DetailView on your browser

Print a GroupBy List 

The aggregated list (GroupBy List) is a feature offered by KoolSuite. You can aggregate by selecting the desired fields: KoolSuite will display the aggregated records according to your choices.

How to print a GroupBy List:

1. Select the fields on which to group from the column selection icon just above the List
2. Activate the GruopBy view
3. Activate KoolPrint with the icon in the Top Bar
4. You can choose whether to print only the totals / aggregate counts or all the records of the Listview
5. Confirm to open the pdf print of the DetailView on your browser

Printing of very long lists

KoolPrint can print even very long lists. With thousands of records. The layout of a pdf of over one hundred pages can be a very expensive operation both for the creation of the pdf and for opening it on your browser.

Pivot Form Print (Spot)

KoolPrint allows you to print the result of any report of this module in elegant pdf.

Will be printed only the results in tabular format: the printing of the graphs is not supported.

How to print a spot form table

1. Process the report on the screen
2. KoolSuite adds a handy legend about active filters in the module
3. Activate KoolPrint with the icon in the Top Bar
4. The printout in pdf will be immediately opened on your browser containing the legend and the pivot table

Customizations of KoolPrint PDF

The KoolPrint module uses the same pdf engine as SuiteCRM.

It is possible to make customizations in the font/header/footer of the pdf.
