Introduction
With the Tags function it is possible to organize crm records in an easy, intuitive and modern way.
The KoolSuite Tags feature offers quick classification and search with minimal interface impact.
How to use Tags
The modules in which the function is available are decided by the CRM administrator. It is possible for this reason that users do not see the functionality in some modules of the CRM.
The Tags are global to the whole system. The same tag can be used in different modules.
In the modules where the categorization with tags has been made available there are:
- in the ListView the search function by Tag,
- in the EditView and DetailView a field for entering the desired tags
How to Tag a record
From the DetailView or EditView view Access the desired tags in the input field on the right:
- use the mouse, the comma key or the tab key to separate one tag from the other
- the auto-complete feature presents you with a list of tags already to choose from
- no need to save: the system saves the tags inserted just written
- use the x next to each tag to remove a tag from a record
It is quick and easy to insert tags that do not serve to save the record, and you can also insert tags in the DetailView
Add new tags or select them from the list
If your system administrator has granted you the ability to insert new tags, you will be able to insert new tags without selecting them from the list.
If, on the other hand, the administrator has decided that you can only select tags from those in an established list, to insert a tag you will need to select from the autocomplete list.
Search records for one or more Tags
KoolSuite integrates SuiteCRM search with the Tags functionality.
In every ListView where the Tags functionality has been activated, there is a button to search through tags.
You can insert one or more tags. By carrying out the search, the system will present all the records that have at least one of the Tags in the search field
the search by tag is independent of the active search filters: the entire list will be filtered by Tags
Tag colors
Each Tag can have a color if it has been set by the administrator in the administrative section of KoolSuite Tags
Global Search by Tags
In the KoolSuite TopBar it is possible to activate the search by Tags.
Use the search icon both to search for a text and to search for one or more Tags in all modules where categorization in Tags has been enabled
Search by text or by tag are alternatives depending on the input entered.
The search result for Tags lists all records that have at least one of the required Tags. The search takes place in all the modules where the search by tags has been enabled
